Not sure how many folks are still reading this site right now but LHS needs our help. Monday night at the City Council meeting they will be discussing what to do about the 4 Million dollar field house and or the sprinkler system that LHS does not have.
Our school board approved a 500K beautification for Flower Mound to bury wires that are an eye sore for them, when LHS needs alot of work done. I do not know all of the details as I am just know finding out about most of it.
Do we need a 4 Million dollar field house? Probably not but we do need a new field house. But honestly what we need is for the LISD school board to start paying attention to LHS and not just FM and Marcus! We were here first! We should matter first! Did you know that not one sitting board member actually lives in LHS zone? I was told this via a 3rd party so not so sure how true or false that statement is but it would make sense.
I agree Marcus needed their own stadium but before they got a new stadium and wires are hidden I think the Asbestos and the fact that LHS has no sprinkler system should have came first!
So if you read this before Monday night at 6pm please come support us in our efforts to make sure LHS is back in the picture! Our kids are just as important as the kids in Flower Mound!
Unfortunately there is no where I can send you to read up on this as LISD board banned bloggers from recieving information!
